Week notes first week of May

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Courts and tribunals, Prisons

Prison visits booking is coming to the end of its discovery process. Gavin and the DSD team with support from GDS ran user workshops in Cardiff prison this last week. The workshop involved discussions with prisoners, their families and prison officers offering valuable insight into their experiences of booking prison visits.

Discovery has also kicked off for the civil claims exemplar. Daniela with support of the DSD and GDS teams will be running a series of workshops this week and next.

The content and design team have started running guerrilla user testing on the latest build in development for employment tribunal fees. Guerrilla testing is a low-cost method of user testing which can be conducted anywhere eg a cafe, library, train station etc; in this instance it took place within the MOJ.

DSD have hired more great designers and developers to join. We'll be introducing them over the coming weeks. We're still looking to recruit for a range of roles. Get in touch if you're interested: digital@justice.gsi.gov.uk.
